Hello, and welcome.
To understand each other better, I think we need to get to know each other a little more. That will probably make navigating this website more fun! After several years of being content with the direction my life was heading, I finally had enough. I didn’t really know where I wanted to end up, but I thought writing down my thoughts would help me. It certainly couldn’t hurt, anyway. Consequently, I started this webpage as a blog, which has now transformed into my personal landing page.
I have a vision of what I want my life to look like, but not really any clue how to get there. Working remotely on my own terms is something I dream of. I have always dreamt of a dog—preferably a big, goofy dog that insists on sitting in my lap. That is why I now have a Labrador Retriever. I dream we will take walks along the sea, in sun and in rain. When we come home, I’ll brew coffee, answer my clients, and work for a few hours from the sofa.He didn’t appreciate my suggestion of wiping his paws, so muddy tracks lead over to the dog bed. Maybe the sun is shining, or maybe thunder is rumbling as I type away at my computer. After the evening walk, I’ll bring out my brushes and continue working on the painting resting on my secondhand easel. While I paint, I look out at the view from the window, so naturally I’m working on a seascape. Soon it will be time to tidy up and prepare for tomorrow’s early meeting, but first I need to clear away the dishes. My meeting is remote, but I’ll probably head into town afterwards to have lunch with a friend. Hopefully I’ll finish my work before it’s time to go.
That was a little glimpse into what I hope will be my everyday life in the future. Maybe you recognize yourself in some of it, and if so, perhaps we can help each other along the way. Thank you for being here and taking the time to read. It means a lot.
Kindly,
Hanna
